The rooms at Rue Galilee in Marseillan are a breath of fresh air! With cool tile floors, cozy seating areas, and refreshing air conditioning, they provide the perfect respite from the scorching summer heat. As a backpacker, I couldn't ask for a more welcoming place to escape and relax.
Personally, I found it a bit disappointing that not all the rooms had a seating area. But hey, that's just my own preference - some people might still find joy in the simplicity of a room with just a tile floor.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with amazing herring dishes and other gourmet treats. The town had a wonderful village vibe and the house itself was a beautifully restored masterpiece. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything we needed. We had the added bonus of being the only guests, enjoying the peace and quiet. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The mansion itself was a harmonious blend of classic architecture and modern comforts. Every room was meticulously maintained and had its own unique charm. The attention to detail, quality, and kindness made our stay truly unforgettable. The bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink with friends. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV added to the convenience and entertainment. The electric kettle in the room was a nice touch for making our own hot drinks. The cots provided for our children were comfortable and well-maintained. The air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable even on hot days. The strict no pets and no smoking policy ensured a clean and enjoyable environment.

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptional hotel. The building is in excellent condition, with modern fixtures and fittings that blend perfectly with the surroundings. The host, Janne, was always there to help and had some amazing stories to share. The location is convenient, with the port and restaurants just a short walk away. The roads leading to the hotel are a bit tight, but it's worth the walk. a lovely place made even better by Janne's hospitality.
Highly recommend this hotel.
